The government of Hungary has made a voluntary contribution of €7,680.78 to support the Council of Europe’s Action Plan for Ukraine 2018-2021, bringing their total support to this action plan to €34,840.74.
This Action Plan aims to continue accompanying Ukraine in its efforts to bring legislation, institutions and practice further into line with European standards in the areas of human rights, the rule of law and democracy and, through this, to support Ukraine in meeting its obligations as a Council of Europe member state.
The Agreement was signed on 16 January 2019 by Ambassador Ágnes Kertész, Permanent Representative of Hungary to the Council of Europe, and Mrs Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, Deputy Secretary General.
