On 23 October 2017 the Hungarian Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe held a reception on the occasion of the anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, a national holiday in Hungary. To mark the national day the Permanent Representation organized a screening of the film "Children of Glory (Szabadság, Szerelem)".
A commemorative speech was given by European Commissioner Tibor Navracsics, which was followed by a preformance of the Cantemus Chorus from Veresegyháza Hungary. The choir sang the Hungarian National Anthem as well as the famous "Evening son" by Zoltán Kodály.
