A round table discussion titled „Regards croisés sur l’Europe en crise” was organised by the Permanent Representative of Greece, Prof. Stelios Perrakis to discuss different perspectives on the crisis Europe is facing.
Panellists of the discussion included Ambassador Louis Javier Gil Catalina, Permanent Representative of Spain, Gianni Buquicchio, President of the Venice Commission, Christos Giakomopoulos, Director-General for Human Rights and the Rule of Law of the Council of Europe and Florence Benoit-Rohmer, professor of public law at the University of Strasbourg. The discussion addressed current political challenges both for the wider Europe and also for the Council of Europe. Ambassador Ágnes Kertész, Permanent Representative of Hungary to the Council of Europe was also present during the discussion.
