The Hungarian Permanent representative to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Ágnes Kertész met the Hungarian delegation to the 36th session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities. During their meeting they discussed the difficult financial situation of the Council of Europe. Ms Anna Magyar, deputy head of the Hungarian delegation and vice president of the Congress also acted as the rapporteur for the report Budget and resources of the Congress for the next biennium (2020-2021) during the session.
The Hungarian delegation was also joined by Prof. Imre Juhász, Hungarian Contistutional Court judge and the Hungarian member of the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI), as well as Congress members from other member states belonging to the Hungarian national minority.
