The government of Hungary has made a non-earmarked voluntary contribution of €7,136.38 to support the implementation of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine 2018-2021.

This Action Plan aims to continue accompanying Ukraine in its efforts to bring legislation, institutions and practice further into line with European standards in the areas of human rights, the rule of law and democracy and, through this, to support Ukraine in meeting its obligations as a Council of Europe member state.

The agreement was signed on 18 October 2018 by Ambassador Ágnes Kertész, Permanent Representative of Hungary to the Council of Europe, and by Mrs Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, Deputy Secretary General.
